Why do I get a payment error when signing upLast Updated: January 31, 2019
If you're having trouble signing up for a plan or encountering the error as shown in the example, please read the possible reasons below.
There are two possible reasons why you encounter this error when signing up.
- You are using a debit card. Our payment system only accepts credit cards.
- Your balance is insufficient. Although you won't be charged away upon signing-up, our payment system charges $1 to your card when you sign-up to ensure that your card is active. This charge will be reverted back to your card after.
What do I do if I encounter this error?
- Check if your card is a Credit Card, if yes and you still encounter an error, please try another card or;
- Check if your card has sufficient funds.
